Recipes

Each month we will disclose the recipe for one of our most requested dishes so you can try it at home. If you have any favourite recipes, then Gilles would love to hear from you; please send him your ideas and recipes and for each one that makes it on to our menu or specials board you will win a bottle of wine.

Gilles' Lemon Posset
450ml cream
2 medium lemons juice & zest
100g sugar
Simply combine all ingredients in a pan, bring to the boil then remove from the heat and leave to infuse for 10 minutes. Then pass the mixture through a sieve to remove pith, pips and to ensure a smooth consistency.
Refrigerate overnight and enjoy with a few mixed berries and decorate with a sprig of rosemary and dust with icing sugar!
